Topic: Identify one theme of George Orwell’s Animal Farm and explain how the novel supports that theme.

Guidelines

In your introduction, provide a brief summary of the novel.  End your introduction with your thesis statement.
In your thesis statement, identify what you believe to be one of the novel’s themes.
Develop your essay by explaining how the novel supports and develops that theme.
In each body paragraph, identify one way how the novel supports and develops the theme.  Consider character representation, setting, plot elements, symbols, or any other elements.
Use textual evidence from the novel (quotes, paraphrases, summaries) as examples to support your main ideas.
In your conclusion, return to your thesis idea and address your essay’s significance or its implications.

Requirements

The paper must be a minimum of three full pages in length and include a Works Cited page listing the novel.
No other source material may be used.
MLA style guidelines (as described in A Writer’s Reference) should be followed.
