A major component of this class is 5-7 page research paper. By the end of Week 2 you should select an object/group of objects on which you will conduct Design Studies research an analysis. While your own analysis of this object/objects is the primary goal of this paper, you must also conduct outside research to situate their historical, social, and theoretical context. To do this you must find a minimum 6 to 8 sources, at least two primary sources. The majority of the rest must be academic in nature.
