Stylistic analysis of two articles – one academic and one non-academic. Task: Using illustrative examples from the 2 extracts provided (I will upload these), write a 5 paragraph essay (800 words) on the differences between academic and non-academic writing. Your first and final paragraphs should provide and introduction and a conclusion, respectively. Your 2nd paragraph must address readership, your 3rd paragraph must address structure, and your 4th paragraph must address style. Refer to attached topic page. Use stylistic analysis matrix . 2nd, third, and fourth paragraphs all need topic sentences. Discuss 2 aspects each of readership, structure and style, when compare/contrast the two articles.
